Great stuff Jay. You really need to post up some water shooting tips sometime soon. My 40D and Del Mar housing are ready to go, but try as I might, my stuff is hurtin for certain it seems. :)

The old surfer dude is me, at the Wind n Sea Longboard contest. I would like a copy of this digital shot if possible. I would like to have some photos made for my sons and for our Oceanside Longboard Club wall at our meeting hall.
Thanks....

Hey Jay, I have been very inspired by your work lately so I got some friends together and did a beach/surfer shoot this weekend http://chadjarae.bigfolioblog.com/ . I really enjoy your work and the stories you share on your blog. Thanks

Nice job again and again! Very refreshing!!! Love the previous sessions too!! Keep posting! You're my daily Californian inspiration :) - did a photo session on the beach today and I though "How would mister J.R do it?". I'm getting influenced ;)

I've said it before and said it again, if you ever come up the coast to Vancouver BC, gimme a shout. I love your work!!
What are the chances of seeing some behind the scene work? I'm curious how you get such amazingly tack sharp images when your out in the water. Do you have to photoshop water droplets often?
