365 is born and in motion! but now that i posted it on here, there is no baggin the idea, your commited!

this was a session that i went out to shoot fellow photographer/surfer nathan petty which i have done in the past on a few occasions. it is at a spot called big rock in la jolla on a very ominous day with decent waves. i may or may not have gotten a decent shot of nathan but i did grab this shot of another guy named nate.
the image has been on the market for only about 5 months and has done pretty well so far, with about 4 rights managed clients thus far. i think it does well because the image is really a different tone than many other images of same content. it has a nice moody feel to it. the image is in aurora's collection on getty images.
glad its doing well, i was sucked over the waved and bounced on the reef a few times, so this shot makes it all worth it.

looks like the ledge at the left is creeping up on him. great work on this one. let's get out there again. summer is coming and those south swells are perfect for the rock!

hi all, just wanted to pass along this new gadget that i have been using. for my stock work, i have spent way too much time cleaning files, until i found this device. the sensor scope
This is basically a loop with a LCD light system to illuminate the sensor to see what type of dirt, dust, or smudges are on the sensor. Now when I go out to shoot, I know my sensor is clean! most of the time, my files are so clean i dont need to do any clean up work before i submit hi res files, pretty nice.
a pic of andrew holding it...
