i told you the shit goes down right outside my studio, another impromptu skate shoot.  how the hell am i gonna get any work done if there i stuff to shoot all the time!  how i gonna make any money if i am not shooting...catch 22.

back from the family vacation and shooting, processing and posting once again.  over the trip set up this shoot with debbie for some promotional images that she was looking to produce.  debbie showed up in a t-shirt that said "i make men sweat" ~ i would think so ;-)

a few friends called and said they were headin out to surf, figured i tag along.

oh yeah, one more thing, kelsey(post below) shoots with me and books a go see at billabong, nice!  go get'em kelsey and tell them them about your fantastic photographer! ;-)

hi all, a session with alec musser in oceanside ca.  shot on the roof of 1010 which was kinda fun.

here in Baltimore md shooting some fitness images.  for what we were looking for, Baltimore is great for backdrops.  have a nice run down feel with some cool urban scapes.  fortunately i had my brother andrew reilly producing the shoot and he knows all the great places to shoot in Baltimore.  thanks to mark for the modeling.

on the technical side, these are all shot with very light weight speedlights.  the lighting kit we have is not very portable so the fast set up and breakdown of the speedlights work pretty well.  for the most part all of the shooting was in pretty deep shade so it made it pretty easy for the speedlights to over power the ambient light.

pretty pleased with these portraits.  thanks to nicole from jet set and lisa for some great makeup as always.  thanks to jules for helping produce.

a weekend personal project.  one of them is my son who never likes his photo taken i only got one frame off, good thing it was decent one! 

a big shout out to sara, jacob and ryan at sony online entertainment for some fast portrait help.  11 portraits in about 40 mins.  no problem!  i think the trick is making them consistent in look but also getting a few unique original images per subject as well.

still at it!  i love the challenge of finding subjects.  nothing like tossing the camera in the front seat with some motivation and inspiration to get some portraits.  sorta like a subject hunt.  i have also been testing out my good friend doug boutwells totally rad actions on this set of images.  pretty nice stuff!
