internship program now available for high school and college students with related emphasis. students should be studying or have an interest in art/photography/advertising/public relations. should have a working understanding of digital camera file formats and photoshop.
6-12 weeks long - 4 - 8 hour days(college students) after school and summer for high school students. opportunities only available to 1 college student and 1 high school student at a time. it is important that the intern actually gets credit for the internship... since at this time there is no pay, you need to have some consideration for putting in all this work... here are the responsibilities:
post production - editing, raw processing, stock image editing, post processing, image retouching
marketing and promotion - email blast, newsletter writing, blog posting, press release writing, graphic design
producing - pre and post production on assignment/stock shoots, photo shoot assistant, casting
general studio work - answer call, shipping, cleaning studio
interns would be responsible for their own travel and housing to Oceanside, ca.
