Fly into San Jose on March 28...preferably before 1-2pm as you have to drive 2 hours to your first destination.

$750 dollars includes:
This 8 days & 7 nights package includes:
• 2 Nights at Hotel Balcon del Mar or Similar / Standard Superior
• 2 Nights at Hotel Costa Verde or Similar / Efficiency Room
• 2 Nights at Hotel Villas Rio Mar or Similar / Standard Superior
• 1 Night at BW Irazu or Similar / Premier Room
• Canopy Safari Tour
• 7 Day Rental / Daihatsu Terios or similar (Insurance not Included)
• All mentioned meals (3 breakfasts and 1 lunch)
• All Transportation, including tours and airport transfers.
• All Taxes.

the only thing the above does not include is insurance on the car rental which is $18 per day, split between the 2 people in the car.


This is MORE vacation than workshop.  there will be time for shooting everyday, and special outings that i am planning for photo sessions, plenty of adventure stuff and fun, and some casual talks on photography, but it is more vacation with like minded fun people.  keep the expectation in check for $750.  there is next to no markup on this trip.  just an opportunity to get out, shoot, have fun and learn from each other

there maybe additional fees for such things as additional tours, sightseeing, park entrances, surf board rentals, model fees if we do a formal shoot, whatever else you want to do on the trip

If your coming alone and you want your own room, then you pay for 2 people.  The rates are based on double occupancy.

Can I bring my husband who does not take photos??  Sure anyone can come, this is a photo trip but there is plenty to do if your not shooting

hi everyone!  finally got have the costa rica information ready to go.  here are the simple details:

8 days/7 nights surf/photo vacation - $750 covers the hotel rooms, some meals, and your car rental, caravan style, double occupancy.  bring a friend(s) or travel alone and meet some new people.  10-15 spaces.



this is a photography vacation more than it is workshop, but there will be plenty of shooting sessions and side trips as well as opportunities to just chat about photography.  there will also be lots of surfing.  if your not a surfer, not a problem, rent a board and take lessons!
