I am interested but I need more information…thanks
Ok, its true, myself and Victor Sizemore, both lovers of Paris, have decided to team up and spend some time shooting one of the most beautiful backdrops for the aspiring and inspired photographer alike. We are so excited about the potential of a late September Paris get-together that we want to see who else is interested!? Would you like to come along and experience what we believe a unique and creative approach to the wedding photography workshop. A 2 and a half day, casual affair that will among other things, get creative juices flowing and flat out challenge your photography skills to live and breathe the passion in your art. Time spent includes cocktail hours, a day of city shooting assignments and challenges, a day of wedding photography in class and around some of the sites of Paris and a possible third day of wedding fashion shooting though out Paris.
Sound fun? Of coarse it does! Just say Oui and join us in Paris. Date to be decided for late September. Limited seats, reserve your spot, please email either Jay Reilly or Victor Sizemore.

BEAUTIFUL!!! How have I NOT seen your blog before! Great…another addiction.
here is some causal shooting in maui. most is either kihei or paia, just found scenarios. yes that is a dog on the SUP. i was digging everyone i found to shoot, pretty fun. these are all direct right out of the camera, no photoshopping at all, not sure that is good or bad, just trivia

-
WOW JAY! These are sooooooo awesome! always love you work.
-
why does everything look better in Maui? great work and congrats on the new kiddo!
-
the surfing dog is totally the BEST!
-
Gorgeous!!! Love the one of the four girls lying on the beach.
-
photoshop is over rated! These are great
i have so many images and separate shoots from Hawaii, i am just gonna trickle a few in here and there… here are some super fit and fun Hawaiian chicks doing what they love to do. coach charlie somewhere off to the side. Maui is small enough that i would shoot someone that morning and there was a good chance i might run into them later that day… kinda dig that small town feel.
shot for fun, shot for spirit, shot for lifestyle.

-
well done!!!
-
Wow these are just amazing! You know what I would really be interested in seeing? Some photos of you taking photos because I have to wonder about how you got some of these shots. Awesome!

I agree with Jen…..what the heck do you look like taking these photos; in my mind you are (in the first photo) barely holding on with your feet standing up while leaning waaaaay over almost tipping everyone out of the boat.
Great photos, I love your style! -
well, you get the shot anyway you can, right? one of the shots i am hanging on the side of the boat dragging half in and half out.
So i just returned from a trip shooting in Maui for a few days and the very cool people at pac safe sent me their duffel bag that turns into a camera bag. well, i have about 15 camera bags so i really did not need another one, but the cool thing about this bag is that it locks up your gear in the bag and you can lock it to a fixed object. well, if it worked, this would be idea, because when i am traveling for photography, i am always putting my equipment into jeopardy by leaving it in the room, in the car or even worse, leaving it on the beach while i go shoot snorkeling on the reef or surfing or whatever!
Pacsafe’s motto is… “when your gear is secure, you can do more” and this was very true on my Hawaii trip. a piece of mind allowed me to shoot more and worry less…photos to post soon!
Other very nice features of the bag:
1. a camera insert that allows for all your gear to fit and be protected. I carried 2 1dsms bodies, 4 lenses AND my water housing and ports in this bag, plus shooting books and model release books
2. the bag has handles, a shoulder strap and backpack straps – i thought the back packs straps were gonna be lame, i used them almost the entire trip.
3. top pocket for the phone and wallet
4. wire mesh and locking cable that fit around and locked up with no problem.
Here is a quick shot of the bag locked up before heading into the water.

Nice shot. I really need to get one of their bags or safes for our next trip. I remember being so paranoid about my cameras, laptop, and PDA getting stolen on our last international trip. Luckily nothing happened, but the peace of mind would be great.

hey guys, just trying to catch up! on location far from home will work on the contest stuff tomorrow! thanks for your patience! some from this morning… for a golf resort.

-
That looks like such a cool job!!
FUN! -
I think you need an assistant that can work remote….somewhere like San Luis Obispo (I just happen to live there)…..and when you have cool shoots like this, I……I mean…..your assistant will fly out for on location help.
-
Killer work!
-
Love your eye for detail—your work is fantastic! *Officially I am the #1 (self-proclaimed) Jay Reilly fan* lol =)

These images make me miss the Paris atmosphere! I think we all leave a part of ourselves there.
