here is some causal shooting in maui.  most is either kihei or paia, just found scenarios.  yes that is a dog on the SUP.  i was digging everyone i found to shoot, pretty fun.  these are all direct right out of the camera, no photoshopping at all, not sure that is good or bad, just trivia ;-)

i have so many images and separate shoots from Hawaii, i am just gonna trickle a few in here and there… here are some super fit and fun Hawaiian chicks doing what they love to do.  coach charlie somewhere off to the side.  Maui is small enough that i would shoot someone that morning and there was a good chance i might run into them later that day… kinda dig that small town feel.

shot for fun, shot for spirit, shot for lifestyle.

So i just returned from a trip shooting in Maui for a few days and the very cool people at pac safe sent me their duffel bag that turns into a camera bag.  well, i have about 15 camera bags so i really did not need another one, but the cool thing about this bag is that it locks up your gear in the bag and you can lock it to a fixed object.  well, if it worked, this would be idea, because when i am traveling for photography, i am always putting my equipment into jeopardy by leaving it in the room, in the car or even worse, leaving it on the beach while i go shoot snorkeling on the reef or surfing or whatever!

Pacsafe’s motto is… “when your gear is secure, you can do more” and this was very true on my Hawaii trip.  a piece of mind allowed me to shoot more and worry less…photos to post soon!

Other very nice features of the bag:
1.  a camera insert that allows for all your gear to fit and be protected.  I carried 2 1dsms bodies, 4 lenses AND my water housing and ports in this bag, plus shooting books and model release books
2.  the bag has handles, a shoulder strap and backpack straps – i thought the back packs straps were gonna be lame, i used them almost the entire trip.
3.  top pocket for the phone and wallet
4.  wire mesh and locking cable that fit around and locked up with no problem.

Here is a quick shot of the bag locked up before heading into the water.
