Hi Everyone, I write this from Puerta Vallarta after a few margaritas so please forgive any typos or slurring. I always look forward to getting the Patagonia catalog for a few reasons. I love the products, the imagery and design. This month’s is no exception. Only its better! Lots of peope in the world of photography are talking about the integration of photography into rich media and video formats. This month’s Patagonia integrates motion film into printed media, which is very cool. In 1968, a film entitled Mountains of Storm was shot and produced with featured Yvon Chionard, Patagonia’s founder and creator and stills from the film were used in the layout, ina graphically delight nature. Plus there is no shortage of fantastic imagery and great products to spend your money on as well.
Did anyone else enjoy it as much as me, or am I just a bigger photo dork than all of you!

hi all, a quick catalog shoot for lifegear. this is like the 6th or 7th shoot for these guys and it is always fun. they are like a mile a minute. by the time the shoot is done, they have come up with another product! good clients to have. also good to have clients that really value the images and understand the importance of not only selling products but getting the products into the channels by means of images, which is cool.

Looks great! I love the light on the last two. How fun would that be?!!

Hi Jay,
Are these straight out of camera? How do you do your post-processing? You should have an online workshop of how you do your post-processing. I suggest online coz I’m all the way here in Chicago
Thanks for the inspiration,
Ellie

Such a photo dork!
This is the first I’ve seen of it, but I’m digging that grainy soft sort of “suggestive” layout. Have a couple Margi’s for me man!
