lets face it, lisa just kicks ass.  i did get my lisa share this weekend, 2 shoots with landmark, still not enough.  can't believe my light stand was set up next to a $500,000.00 Rolls.  Pretty fun event.

hmmm... if i was in the market for a camera, i might consider it!  hasselblad for $12,995!  and just a bit more for the standard 80mm lens.  pretty sweet.  making it a bit of a fight when considering the 1dsm3(or 4).  i think the answer is the have both and use them for different applications.

Hi Everyone,  The long anticipated release of Aurora's green collection is now live.  I was happy to see two of my shots featured as green images, the one of my son in his tie-dye rolling in the grass and the other Emy's green flip flops in green grass.

Most of my selected images were not at all conceptually intentional as green, but good to see them in there and perhaps will shoot more green in the future.

a different take on family shots.  doing a very similar series of images as the last round.  its a casting process for the right scenarios and the family pays a nominal processing fee and you get the images on disc.  here are the specs:

looking for san diego families, that have a super rad house or apartment(modern, ranch, farm), cool cars, fun hobbies, multi-generational, sports, activity, fun senarios and super raw family living.  bit hard to explain.  I can only do a few of these shoots and might not be able to accomidate all those that apply, but will try if the family fits.  If your interested, please email jay@jayreilly.com and tell me about your family, send digital pics and where you live.  in the subject line, please put "raw family shoot"  if you might know someone that is a good fit, send them this link, thanks!

Hi Everyone - i have posted on this in the past and now i am finally in a spot to take on the internship program, whew!!  I am keeping it very flexible at this point and look forward  to finding those that are interested.  I would perfer that your getting school credit for the commitment.  Would ask for a minimum commitment, depending interns availability.  Can work around school and your real job.

some responsibilities would include:
digital asset management, raw processing, pre/post shoot production, shooting assistance, workshop assistance, cleaning and managing the studio, other things to be defined!

some perks and benefits to those that make a commitment - learn the ins and outs of a working commercial studio, attend all the photography workshops as an assistant, work 1 block from the beach, have your own dedicated workspace, gain real world experience that you can not learn at college or photography school.
